Published rankings, with their original scales
Journals: SJR best quartile (Q1–Q4). The Scopus-based SCImago indicator is documented in UCL Library Services’ journal metrics guidance. Q1 is the highest quartile within a subject category. The directory uses the Universidad de Extremadura’s 2025 dataset. Each matched journal includes its source record, SJR score, ISSNs and category-specific quartiles in Venue details. The mirror identifies the dataset edition as 2025; it does not separately state the citation metric year.
Computing conferences: ICORE 2026 (A*, A, B, C). These grades come from the official ICORE rankings portal, maintained through an international collaboration of computing research associations. A* is its highest grade. The source’s non-grade classifications, such as “Multiconference”, are preserved separately.
A+ and B+ are not grades in these frameworks. Journal quartiles and conference grades are distinct scales; they are not converted to a shared score. SJR “best quartile” is the highest quartile across a journal’s categories, which may differ from the category relevant to your paper.
Missing ranks and responsible comparisons
An entry marked Not verified has no exact ranked match in the selected source snapshot. This does not mean the venue has low standing. ICORE covers computing conferences, so many wider STEM meetings are outside its coverage.
Journal metrics describe citation patterns at venue level. They do not measure the quality of an individual paper or predict acceptance. Compare journals within a relevant subject category and read the venue’s scope, article types and audience before shortlisting.
Submission links, dates & coverage
Venue names link to official publisher, society or conference sites. “Author guide” links are journal specific; “Publisher author hub” links describe a publisher’s general process. Conference edition directories lead to the relevant year’s call.
Annual calls are labelled by edition and may have closed. Follow the official venue for current dates. Meeting abstracts and presentations are distinguished from full-paper proceedings.
This independent directory includes 170 journals and 77 conferences or meeting series across 10 STEM disciplines. It is a broad selection, not an exhaustive global list. Compiled 3 October 2026. The site is not affiliated with the listed publishers, societies, ranking bodies or universities.
